The Honda Civic in the case was discovered stolen in Adams County, CO, early one Saturday evening.  Thanks to local police and the LoJack® system that was installed when the car was purchased, it took only a half hour after activation to recover it.

On November 23rd, 2013, the Honda’s owners reported their car stolen to the Adams County Sheriff’s Office. A deputy verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers. This procedure automatically activated the LoJack device concealed in the Civic, which was installed at Gardena Honda in Gardena, CA.

A short while later, deputies with the Adams County Sheriff’s Office picked up the homing signals from the stolen car with the LoJack tracking computers installed in their patrol vehicles. The deputies quickly tracked the Honda, and soon returned it to its grateful owners.
