When the Newtown Township, PA resident in this case discovered her 2008 Nissan Versa missing from her home driveway one Wednesday morning, she was glad she had the LoJack® system installed when she purchased her car. With LoJack’s assistance, the Versa was recovered in less than two hours after activation.

On December 11th, 2013, the Nissan’s owner called Bucks County Police to report the crime. An officer verified the theft and prepared a stolen vehicle report to be entered into the Pennsylvania State Police Computer. This procedure automatically activated the LoJack transponder concealed in the Versa, which was installed at Antwerpen Nissan in Clarksville, MD.

A short while later, officers from the Newtown Township Police received the homing signal from the stole car on the LoJack tracking computers installed in their patrol vehicles. The Nissan was found parked and unattended near Elm and Washington Streets. The Versa was recovered and soon returned to its relieved owner.
