Having your vehicle stolen is always frustrating. One way to lessen this frustration is to have the LoJack® system installed in your car, truck, van or motorcycle. When your local police are assisted by LoJack, they can find your missing machine quickly and safely.

On November 23rd, 2013, the owner of a Toyota Avalon contacted the Chicago Police to report that their vehicle was missing from their reside crime. Officers verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the LEADS and NCIC state and federal crime computers. This procedure automatically activated the LoJack unit concealed in the Avalon, which was installed at Enterprise Car Sales in Worth, IL.

The officers tracked the Toyota to a location in Chicago’s Loop neighborhood, where it was discovered parked and unoccupied. The undamaged Avalon was quickly returned to its happy owner.
