Early one Friday morning, this Tulsa, OK resident discovered his Mercedes Benz E430 was missing. Thanks to the LoJack® system he has installed when purchasing his vehicle, his local police were able to recover it in less than three and a half hours after activation.

On November 22nd, 2013, the owner of the Mercedes contacted the Tulsa Police Department to report the incident. Officers verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers. The LoJack unit concealed in the E430, which was installed at Mercedes Benz of Miami, FL, was then automatically activated.

A short while later, a deputy with the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Department picked up the homing signal from the stolen car with the LoJack tracking computer installed in his patrol car. The deputy found the Mercedes in the area near 6th and Boulder, where it was parked and unoccupied. The undamaged E430 was soon returned to its relieved owner.
