On a recent cold November morning, this Monroe Township, NJ resident turned on her Honda Civic to warm it up, left it running and went back inside her home. When she came back out a few minutes later, her vehicle was gone. The LoJack® system that was installed in the car at purchase helped to ease our victim’s troubles by assisting police in recovering the Civic in less than 90 minutes after activation.

On November 19th, 2013, the Honda’s owner contacted the Monroe Township Police Department to report the crime. Officers verified the theft and entered the vehicle’s information into the state and federal crime computers. This procedure automatically activated the LoJack transponder concealed in the Civic, which was installed at Honda of Turnersville, NJ.

A short time later, a Monroe Township PD picked up the homing signals from the stolen car on the LoJack tracking computer installed in his patrol vehicle. The officer tracked the Honda to a nearby shopping center where it was found parked and abandoned. The undamaged Civic was soon returned to its grateful owner.
