The victims in this next case had their Parker, CO home robbed and their 2008 Lexus IS250 taken by the burglars.  The LoJack® system they had installed when purchasing their vehicle helped local police recover it in just over an hour after activation, bringing a little good news in this otherwise horrible experience.

On November 11th, 2013, the owners of the Lexus contacted the Parker PD to report the crime. Officers verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers. This procedure automatically activated the LoJack device concealed in the IS250, which was installed at Kuni Lexus in Greenwood Village, CO.

A short while later, a trooper with the Colorado State Patrol and an officer with the Lone Tree PD picked up the homing signals from the stolen car with the LoJack tracking computers installed in their patrol vehicles. The officers tracked the Lexus to a Park-N-Ride structure in Lone Tree, where it had been parked and abandoned. The IS250 was soon returned to its relieved owner.
