The Baltimore, MD residents in this case discovered their Honda Accord missing late one Friday evening. The LoJack® system installed in their vehicle made sure their entire weekend wasn’t ruined by helping local police safely recover the Accord early the next morning.

On November 8th, 2013, the Honda’s owner contacted the Baltimore County Police Department to report the incident. Officers verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers. The LoJack unit concealed in the Accord, which was installed at Sport Honda in Silver Spring, MD, was then automatically activated.

Within a short period of time, officers from the Baltimore City PD picked up the homing signals from the stolen car on the LoJack tracking computers installed in their patrol vehicles. The officers tracked the vehicle to Gemma Street in Baltimore, where they found it parked and abandoned. The undamaged Accord was recovered and soon returned to its relieved owners.
