The LoJack® System Helps San Antonio, Texas Police Recover Stolen Ford Ranger

Imagine waking up in the morning and finding your vehicle missing from where you parked it the night before. That’s what happened to the owner of a Ford Ranger in San Antonio, TX recently. It’s a good thing this victim chose to have the LoJack® system installed when he bought his pickup, because, with LoJack’s help, his local police were able to recover it the same day.

On November 4th, 2013, the Ford’s owner contacted the San Antonio Police to report the incident. Officers verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers. , which automatically activated the LoJack device concealed in the Ranger, which was installed at Gillespie Ford in San Antonio. TX.

A short while later, an officer from the San Antonio PD picked up the homing signals from the stolen truck on the LoJack tracking computers installed in their patrol vehicles. The officers located the Ford parked and abandoned on a public street. The Ranger was soon returned to its very thankful owner.
