When this Lemon Grove, CA resident discovered his Honda CBR600 motorcycle missing one Wednesday afternoon, he immediately contacted local law enforcement. The LoJack® system hidden on his bike helped police locate it in less than an hour and a half after activation.

On October 2nd, 2013, the Honda’s owner contacted the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department to report that his vehicle was stolen. Deputies verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers. This procedure automatically activated the LoJack device concealed in the CBR600.

A short while later, officers from El Cajon PD picked up the homing signals from the stolen bike on the LoJack tracking computers installed in their patrol vehicles. The officers tracked the Honda to a commercial neighborhood in El Cajon. One suspect was found at a nearby residence and taken into custody. The undamaged CBR600 was soon returned to its relieved owner.
