The Honda Accord in this case was stolen during a home burglary in Longmont, CO. Local police, with help from the LoJack® system, retrieved the car in just 75 minutes, hopefully making a terrible day a little bit better for these victims.

On October 5th, 2013, the owners of the Honda contacted Longmont Police to report the crime. Officers verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers. The LoJack unit concealed in the Accord, which was installed at Honda of Greeley, CO, was then automatically activated.

A short while later, officers with the Denver PD picked up the homing signals from the stolen car with the LoJack tracking computers installed in their patrol vehicles. The officers tracked the vehicle to an apartment lot near Leetsdale and South Oneida Streets, where they found the Accord parked and unoccupied. The Honda was recovered and soon returned to its very grateful owners.
