The owner of a 2010 Infiniti M35 was leaving a Cleveland, OH hospital after an overnight stay when he discovered his car missing from the parking lot. That’s enough stress to make our victim feel sick all over again. Luckily, his vehicle already had the right prescription- the LoJack® system hidden inside- so local police could track and recover his M35 in just three hours and 20 minutes after activation.

On September 21st, 2013, the victim contacted Cleveland Police to report the incident. Officers verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers. This procedure automatically activated the LoJack device concealed in the M35, which was installed at Infiniti of Bedford, OH.

Shortly after, several law enforcement agencies on the west side of Cuyahoga County picked up the homing signals from the Infiniti on the LoJack tracking computers installed in their cruisers. Officers with the Cleveland PD tracked the vehicle to a residential area, where the M35 was parked and abandoned. The undamaged Infiniti was soon returned to its very grateful owner.
