When these Tulsa, OK residents discovered their Honda Accord missing around dinner time one Tuesday, they probably felt a little better knowing that there was a LoJack® system installed in their car to help police locate it- and when the car was recovered in a little over a half hour after activation, we’re sure they felt satisfied that LoJack was well worth their investment.

On September 17th, 2013, the Honda’s owner contacted Tulsa Police to report the crime. Officers verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers. The LoJack device concealed in the Accord, which was installed at Vandergriff Honda in Arlington, TX, was then automatically activated.

A short while later, an officer with the Tulsa PD Gilcrease Division picked up the homing signal from the stolen car on the LoJack tracking computer installed in his patrol vehicle. The officer was able to quickly locate the Honda on East 11th St. in Tulsa. The Accord was soon returned to its very happy owners.
