The LoJack® System Helps Houston, Texas Police Recover Stolen Ford F-250 Pickup

The LoJack® system is a great investment because it assists law enforcement in retrieving your vehicle quickly when it’s stolen. The victim in this next case would agree, since this is the third time his Ford F-25O has been stolen and recovered using LoJack.

On September 3rd, 2013, the Ford’s owner contacted the Harris County Sheriff Department to report the crime. HCSD officers verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers. This procedure automatically activated the LoJack transponder concealed in the F-250, which was installed at Helfman Ford in Stafford, TX.

A short while later, officers from Houston Police picked up the homing signals from the stolen pickup on the LoJack tracking computers installed in their patrol vehicles. The officers tracked the pickup and located it parked and abandoned. The F-250 was soon returned to its grateful owner.
