The Falls Church, VA resident in this case was shocked to discover his Infiniti G350 missing around 5 a.m. one Sunday morning. This victim got a nicer surprise when his local police, assisted by the LoJack® system, recovered his car later that same morning.

On September 8th, 2013, the Infiniti’s owner contacted the Fairfax County Police to report that their vehicle was stolen. Officers verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers. This action automatically activated the LoJack unit concealed in the G-350, which was installed at Rosenthal Infiniti in Vienna, VA.

After a short while, deputies from the Fairfax County Sheriff’s Office picked up the homing signals from the stolen car on the LoJack tracking computers installed in their patrol vehicles. The deputies tracked the Infiniti to a residence in Falls Church, where it was parked and abandoned. The G-350 was recovered by the police and soon returned to its happy owner.
