The LoJack® System Helps Metro Nashville, Tennessee Police Recover Stolen Honda CR-V in One Hour, 25 Minutes

The Nashville, TN residents in this case were leaving a local restaurant one Friday afternoon when they discovered their Honda CR-V had already left the parking lot- without them. The LoJack® system they purchased when buying their car turned out to be a worthwhile investment, because local police, assisted by LoJack, were able to recover the CR-V in less than 90 minutes after activation.
On August 9th, 2013, the Honda’s owners contacted the Metro Nashville Police to report the theft. The police verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers. The LoJack unit concealed in the CR-V, which was installed at Trickett Honda in Nashville, TN, was then automatically activated.
A short while later, Metro Nashville PD officers picked up the homing signals from the stolen Honda with the LoJack tracking computer installed in their patrol vehicles. The CR-V was found, parked and abandoned, and the undamaged car was soon returned to its grateful owners.
