The owner of a Chevy TrailBlazer found his SUV stolen from his work parking lot in Houston, TX, in this case. The vehicle owner was glad he had decided to install the LoJack® system when purchasing his vehicle, because local police were able to recover it for him that same day.

On July 17th, 2013, the Chevy’s owner finished his work day and found his SUV missing. He immediately contacted the Houston Police Department and filed a report. Houston PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers. This action automatically activated the LoJack device concealed in the TrailBlazer, which was installed at Davis Chevrolet Geo in Houston, TX.

A short while later, officers from the Houston PD Auto Theft Division picked up the homing signal from the stolen vehicle on the LoJack tracking computers installed in their patrol vehicles. They tracked the SUV to a large apartment parking lot where the Chevy was backed into a parking space with the front license plate removed. The TrailBlazer had only minor damage and was soon returned to its grateful owner.
