Here’s a scary thought- while you’re in the mall shopping for what you need, a thief is in the parking lot ‘shopping’ for a vehicle to steal- YOUR vehicle. Having the LoJack® system installed in your car, truck, van or motorcycle puts you one step ahead of the crooks, enabling your local police to recover your property quickly and safely.

On July 12th, 2013, the GLK350’s owner contacted the Roswell, GA Police to report that their vehicle had been stolen from a shopping mall parking lot. Officers verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers. This automatically activated the LoJack transponder concealed in the vehicle, which was installed at Euro Motorcars in Germantown, MD.

A short while later, a Georgia State Patrol trooper began receiving the homing signal from the Mercedes on the LoJack tracking computer installed in his patrol car. The trooper tracked the car to an apartment complex parking lot in Atlanta, where it was parked and abandoned.  The GLK350 was soon returned to its relieved owner.
