The victims in this case had their 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 stolen from their Arvada, CO home one evening, but, thanks to their local police and the LoJack® system, their truck was recovered in less than three hours.

On June 30th, 2013, the Dodge’s owners contacted the Arvada Police to report that their pickup was stolen from their home.  This theft was among several vehicle thefts that occurred in Arvada that evening. Officers verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers. This automatically activated the LoJack transponder concealed in the Dodge.

A short while later, officers with the Denver PD picked up the homing signals from the stolen pickup with the LoJack tracking computers installed in their patrol vehicles. The officers tracked the truck to West Louisiana Avenue where it was found parked and unoccupied.  The Ram was soon returned to its very relieved owners.
