West Valley City, Utah Police Track Recover Stolen Honda Accord Assisted by the LoJack® System

The Utah residents who own the Honda Accord in this case are doubly glad that their car had the LoJack® system installed. Why? Because this is the second police recovery of their vehicle using LoJack in less than two years!

On July 6th, 2013, the Honda’s owners contacted the West Valley City, UT Police to report their car stolen. Officers verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and national stolen vehicle computers. The LoJack device concealed in the Accord, which was installed at Arrowhead Honda in Peoria, AZ, was then automatically activated.

A short time later, officers with the West Valley City PD began picking up the homing signal from the Honda on the LoJack tracking computers installed in their patrol cars. The moving car was stopped and five suspected gang members who were riding in the Accord were taken into custody. The Honda was soon returned to its very relieved owners.
