LoJack® for Classics is a LoJack system specially designed for custom, classic and collectible vehicles. Its installation is covert and non-invasive, meaning that it protects without being visible and interfering with the look and style of your ‘baby’. In this case, a 1962 Volkswagen Beetle was stolen while its owner was attending a wedding. Local law enforcement, assisted by LoJack, recovered the ‘Bug’ in less than an hour.

On June 29th, 2013, the VW’s owner contacted the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department-West Hollywood Station to report that her vehicle was stolen while she was attending a wedding. LASD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers, which automatically activated the LoJack device concealed in the Volkswagen.

A short time later, officers assigned to LAPD-North Hollywood Division picked up the homing signal from the Beetle on the LoJack tracking computers installed in their patrol vehicles. The officers tracked and located the vehicle parked on Blix Street.  The VW was soon returned to its very happy owner.
