This is not the way you want to wake up Monday morning- with your vehicle missing. A San Diego resident recently found his Infiniti G35 gone from where he had parked it. He was glad he chose to have the LoJack® system installed when he bought his car, so local law enforcement was able to recover it in just 97 minutes after activation.

On June 17th, 2013, the G35’s owner contacted the San Diego Police Department to report that his vehicle was stolen from Garnet Ave. in San Diego. SDPD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers. The LoJack unit concealed in the Infiniti, which was installed at Volvo of Fairfield, CA, was then automatically activated.

A short time later, SDPD officers picked up the homing signals from the G35 on the LoJack tracking computers installed in their patrol vehicles.  The officers tracked the vehicle to Bayard Ave. in San Diego, where it was found parked and abandoned. The owner was thrilled to get his undamaged Infiniti back so quickly.
