The LoJack® System Helps Phoenix, Arizona Police Recover Stolen BMW 650i in 33 Minutes

These Phoenix, AZ residents got an incredible shock when they arrived home after a European vacation to find their residence had been burglarized and their BMW 650i was missing. The LoJack® system installed in their car upon purchase made things a little better by helping local police locate the vehicle in just over a half hour after activation.
The victims called Phoenix Police, who verified the theft and entered the stolen vehicle information into their local and national police computers. This automatically activated the LoJack device concealed in the 650i, which was installed at BMW of North Scottsdale, AZ.
A short while later, Phoenix Police officers flying AIR 3 began picking up the homing signal from the BMW with the LoJack tracking computer installed in their patrol helicopter. They located the 650i parked at an apartment complex on N. 32nd Street and alerted ground units, who arrived at the location and arrested two suspects. The undamaged BMW was soon returned to its very relieved owners.
