These Lower Gwynedd, PA residents were shocked to discover their Toyota Highlander was missing early one Tuesday morning. Fortunately, they chose to have the LoJack® system installed when purchasing their truck, so local law enforcement was able to recover it in a little over two hours.

On June 18th, 2013, the Highlander’s owners discovered that their vehicle had been stolen, and contacted Lower Gwynedd Police. The assigned officer verified the theft and entered the Toyota’s information into the Pennsylvania State Police Computer.  This automatically activated the LoJack device concealed in the Highlander, which was installed at Hudson Toyota in Jersey City, NJ.

A short while later, officers from the Ambler, PA Police received the homing signal from the stolen Toyota on the LoJack tracking computers installed in their patrol vehicles. They located the Highlander parked and abandoned in a school lot.  The undamaged Toyota was soon returned to its happy owners.
