Sunday evening is a time for many of us to take it easy, to relax after a busy weekend and get ready for the work week ahead. The Denver, CO resident in this next case was stressing rather than decompressing when he found his 2009 Subaru Impreza was missing. He did have one factor on his side to help ease his worry- he had the LoJack® system installed when purchasing his car, so local law enforcement was able to recover it fast- less than 20 minutes after activation.

On June 9th, 2013,  the Subaru’s owner contacted Denver Police to report that his vehicle stolen. Officers verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers. This action automatically activated the LoJack unit concealed in the Impreza, which was installed at Groove Subaru in Englewood, CO.

A very short time later, officers with the Denver PD picked up the homing signals from the Subaru with the LoJack tracking computers installed in their patrol vehicles. The officers quickly located the Impreza and returned it to its relieved owner.
