How do you know when the party’s over? When you walk out the door to go home and your car isn’t there. Luckily, the owner of this 2013 Toyota Camry chose to have the LoJack® system installed when she bought her vehicle just two months prior, and local law enforcement was able to retrieve it in just FIVE MINUTES after activation!

The victim was at a party and reported the theft to the Citrus Heights Police. The vehicle information was entered into the California Stolen Vehicle System as well as the national system. This routine police action automatically activated the LoJack device concealed in the Camry, which was installed at Toyota of Whittier, CA.

A short time later, a helicopter air unit with the Sacramento Sheriff’s Department began to receive the homing signal from the Toyota on their on-board LoJack tracking computer. The air unit officers requested assistance from their ground units as well as Citrus Heights Police. The Camry was located parked and abandoned on a side street and was soon returned to its very grateful owner.
