The Denver, CO residents in our next case are a great testament to the effectiveness and the value of the LoJack® system- their Honda Accord was stolen twice in 15 months and recovered both times by police aided by LoJack!

On May 12th, 2013, the Accord’s owners contacted the Denver, CO Police to report that their vehicle was stolen. Denver PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into their state and federal crime computers. This automatically activated the LoJack unit concealed in the Honda, which was installed at Honda of Pasadena, CA.

A short while later, officers with both the Denver and Sheridan Police Departments picked up the homing signals from the stolen Accord with the LoJack tracking computers installed in their patrol vehicles. Sheridan PD tracked the vehicle to a private residence where the vehicle was observed parked and unoccupied.  The suspect later found to have possession of the vehicle was identified by police as a repeat offender and was arrested. The Accord was soon returned to its happy owners.

The same Honda had also been stolen in February 2013 in Denver and was quickly tracked and recovered by Denver Police using LoJack on that occasion as well.
