The LoJack® System Helps Avondale, Arizona Police Recover Infiniti G35 Taken in Home Burglary

These Avondale, AZ residents were in for quite a shock when they arrived home one Monday afternoon to find their home broken into and their Infiniti G35 missing. It’s a good thing that they had the LoJack® system installed when purchasing their car at Midway Infiniti in Phoenix, AZ. It took local police only 20 minutes to retrieve the G35, so the victims were able to get back some of what they had lost during this dreadful incident.
The Infiniti’s owners came home to find their residence had been burglarized and their car missing, along with personal property and firearms. The victims called the Avondale PD, who entered the Infiniti’s VIN (vehicle identification number) into their state and national crime computers. This automatically activated the LoJack unit concealed in the vehicle.
A short while later, Avondale officers began picking up the homing signal from the stolen car with the LoJack tracking computers installed in their police vehicles. They observed the Infiniti parked on Wyman Avenue in Avondale. The G35 was abandoned and the additional stolen property was gone, but the car was not damaged and was soon returned to its grateful owners.
