It’s always good news when a stolen vehicle is recovered by police assisted by the LoJack® system. We are especially proud when a vehicle is recovered extremely quickly, as in this case, when a Land Rover LR3 stolen in Colorado was recovered in just 11 minutes after activation!

On March 5th, 2013, the LR3’s owners contacted the Glendale, CO Police to report that their vehicle was stolen. The police verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into their state and federal crime computers. This automatically activated the LoJack device concealed in the SUV, which was installed at Luxury Motors in Downers Grove, IL.

Minutes later, officers with the Denver PD picked up the homing signals from the stolen Land Rover with the LoJack tracking computers installed in their patrol vehicles.  The officers tracked the vehicle to East 12th Avenue and found it abandoned.  The LR3 was soon returned to its happy owners.
