45 minutes may not be long enough to watch a television drama, dry a load of laundry, or eat a multi-course dinner, but it was enough time for the Aurora, Colorado police to track down a stolen Lexus E35 with help from the LoJack® system.

On March 14th, 2013, the owners of a Lexus E35 contacted Denver Police to report that their vehicle had been stolen. The police verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into their state and federal crime computers. The LoJack unit concealed in the Lexus, which was installed at Aadvantage Auto Credit Union in Centennial, CO, was then automatically activated.

A short while later, officers with the Aurora Police picked up the homing signals from the stolen car with the LoJack tracking computers installed in their patrol vehicles.  The officers located the car in the area of 16th and Kingston in Aurora and detained two suspects.  The Lexus was soon returned to its happy owners.
