The owners of a 2008 Chevrolet Aveo got an unpleasant wake-up call on February 23rd, 2013, when they found that their vehicle had been taken. Luckily, the LoJack® system they had installed upon purchase was wide awake and helped local police find their car just TEN MINUTES after activation!

On that fateful Saturday morning, the Aveo’s owners contacted the Pueblo, CO police to report that their car was stolen. The police verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers. This automatically activated the LoJack unit concealed in the Aveo, installed at Spradley Chevrolet in Pueblo, CO.

A short while later, officers with the Pueblo PD picked up the homing signals from the Chevy with the LoJack tracking computers installed in their patrol vehicles. The officers tracked the vehicle to West 12th Street and recovered the car.  The owners were very happy to get their Aveo back so quickly.
