When a victim of vehicle theft has their car, truck, van or motorcycle retrieved thanks to their local police and the LoJack® system, they feel glad that they chose to have it installed.  In this case, the owner of a Dodge Dakota had their truck stolen and retrieved TWICE in less than three years, and knew that purchasing the LoJack device was money well spent.

On May 8th, 2013, the Dakota’s owners contacted the Denver, CO Police to report that their vehicle was stolen. The police verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers. This automatically activated the LoJack device concealed in the truck, which was installed at Colorado Springs Dodge in Colorado Springs, CO.

A short while later, officers with the Denver PD (as well as other agencies) picked up the homing signals from the stolen Dodge with the LoJack tracking computers installed in their patrol vehicles.  The officers tracked the vehicle to Humboldt Street where the vehicle was recovered.  The Dakota was soon returned to the very happy owner.
