Having the LoJack® System installed in your vehicle not only assists your local police in getting your stolen car back, but getting it back FAST. In this particular case, it took the Baltimore City Police less than two hours between activation and recovery.

On April 26th, 2013, the owner of a 2008 Honda Station wagon contacted the Baltimore City PD to report that their vehicle was stolen from Park Heights Avenue.  The officers verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into their state and federal crime computers. The LoJack unit concealed in the Honda, which was installed at Anderson Honda in Cockeysville, MD, was then automatically activated.

Within a short while, Baltimore City PD picked up the homing signals from the Honda on the LoJack tracking computers installed in their patrol vehicles. The officers tracked the vehicle to Fairlawn Avenue in the northwest area of Baltimore, where the station wagon was recovered parked and unoccupied. The Honda was soon returned to its owner.
