This LoJack® System success story is what we call a ‘two-fer’- not only did the police locate our customer’s truck in 36 minutes after the LoJack unit was activated- they also retrieved an additional stolen vehicle as well!

On April 3rd, 2013, the owner of a Ford F-350 pickup contacted the Miramar, FL Police to report that their vehicle was stolen from their home. The responding officer entered the vehicle’s information into their state and federal crime computers. This automatically activated the LoJack unit concealed in the truck, which was installed at World Ford Pembroke Pines, FL.

A short while later, a Miami Gardens Police Department K-9 officer picked up the homing signal from the F-350 on the LoJack tracking computer installed in their patrol vehicle. The officer located the vehicle parked and abandoned in an alley, along with a 2012 Toyota that had also been reported stolen. The pickup was soon returned to its happy owners.
