Getting up early on Monday isn’t easy for most people, but what can make a rough morning even worse is discovering that your car is gone. That’s where the LoJack® System comes in, helping your local police retrieve your stolen vehicle fast (only 45 minutes in this particular case), so you can get back to your regular routine.

On March 4th, 2013, the owner of a Honda Accord contacted the Miami Gardens, Florida police to report that their vehicle was stolen from their home. The responding officer entered the vehicle’s information into their state and federal crime computers. This automatically activated the LoJack unit concealed in the Accord, which was installed at Majestic Honda-Lincoln in Warwick, Rhode Island.

A short while later, a Miami Gardens PD office, picked up the homing signal from the stolen Honda on their LoJack tracking computer in their patrol vehicle. The officers tracked the car to Jann Avenue in Opa Locka, where it was recovered in good condition and soon returned to its owners.
