The LoJack® System, in conjunction with your local police, is one of the fastest ways to get your stolen vehicle back. This next story involves a Honda Civic which was retrieved in only SEVEN MINUTES after activation.

On April 15th, 2013, the Civic’s owner parked his car in the lot of the restaurant he worked at, on International Boulevard South in SeaTac, Washington.  10 minutes later, the vehicle was stolen, and he immediately contacted the SeaTac Police Department, who entered the vehicle identification number (VIN) into their state and federal crime computers. That process automatically activated the LoJack unit concealed in the Honda, which was installed at Lexus of Tacoma in Fife, WA.

Just five minutes later, an Auburn officer received the homing signal from the stolen Civic on the LoJack tracking computer installed in his patrol car.  He tracked the Honda to South Division Street where it was being operated by a male. The vehicle was stopped and the suspect was taken into custody. The undamaged Civic was soon returned to its owner.
