On a cold morning, many people will turn on their car to warm up awhile before they depart. However, if you don’t have a remote starter or a spare key to lock it while it’s running, you may walk out and find your car gone, like the California resident in this case

This all occurred on April 19th, 2013. The victim immediately contacted the Stockton, CA Police to report the theft. The officer entered the vehicle information into their state and national crime computers. This automatically activated the LoJack® device concealed in the vehicle, which was installed at McClellan Buick in La Mesa, CA.

A short time later, officers with the Stockton PD began to receive homing signals from the Buick on the LoJack tracking computers in their patrol vehicles. They tracked the vehicle being driven in the area of Airport Way and Park St. The officers stopped the vehicle and arrested one male suspect. The LeSabre was soon returned to its happy owner.
