Most people have a well-established morning routine- wake up, shower, eat breakfast, get dressed, and head off to work. However, those familiar steps can come to a screeching halt when you walk out your front door and find your vehicle missing.  That’s where the LoJack® System comes into play- to help your local police locate your stolen car and get your life back to normal.

On April 6, 2013, the owner of a 2012 Toyota Corolla contacted the Montclair, New Jersey Police Department to report that he had parked his car in his driveway around 8 p.m. the previous evening, and this morning it was gone. The Montclair PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into their state and federal crime computers. This automatically activated the LoJack device concealed in the Corolla, which was installed at Toyotaland of Springfield, NJ.

In a short while, a patrol officer from the Newark Police Department picked up the signal from the stolen Toyota on the LoJack tracking computer installed in his patrol vehicle. The officer located the vehicle on Bloomfield Ave, where he found it parked and undamaged. The Corolla was soon returned to its grateful owner.
