We take great pride in helping the police recover stolen vehicles.  However, when there’s more than one stolen vehicle recovered because of a vehicle equipped with a LoJack® System, we receive even more satisfaction.

On March 29, 2013, the owner of a Chevrolet Custom Van contacted Philadelphia, PA Police to report that their vehicle was missing. The police entered the van’s information into their computer, which automatically activated the LoJack® unit which had been installed when it was purchased from Meissner Chevrolet in PA.

A short while later, officers from the Philadelphia Police Aviation Unit received a signal from the stolen van on the LoJack tracking computer installed in their helicopter. They alerted police ground units to the location of the vehicle, who then located the van parked next to a garage containing parts of a van later determined to be stolen in 2009 from Upper Darby, PA. After the suspects returned to the location and began removing parts from the garage, police arrested four people and returned the Chevy Van to its owner.
