When you have a LoJack® unit installed in your vehicle, you may not think that you will ever have to utilize it. However, the owner of this luxury vehicle in California was glad he made the choice to purchase LoJack when his car was stolen JUST THREE DAYS after he purchased it!

On March 31, 2013, the Fullerton, CA Police Department was contacted by a LoJack customer reporting that his 2011 Lexus IS F was stolen. The officers entered the car’s VIN (vehicle identification number) into their computer, which activated the LoJack device that was installed at Lexus of Westminster.

A short time later, California Highway Patrol Air Support officers received a tracking signal from the stolen vehicle on the LoJack tracking computer installed on their Cessna Fix Wing Airship. The CHP officers circled high above the car and contacted ground units, who recovered the vehicle undamaged and arrested the suspect. The value of the recovered vehicle was $52,460!
