On the morning of June 24, 2012, the owner of this 2007 Toyota pickup truck contacted the Milton Police Department to report the vehicle stolen from the 500 block of 22nd Avenue in Milton sometime after 6:00AM. Milton officers verified the theft and entered the vehicle identification number into the state and federal crime computers. That process automatically activated the LoJack transponder concealed in the Toyota truck.

Less than an hour later, an Auburn Police officer received the silent LoJack homing signal transmitting from the stolen Toyota on the Police Tracking Computer installed in his patrol car.  Following the directional and audible cues from the LoJack computer, the vehicle was located in the 1900 block of “M” Street in Auburn.  The two occupants in the truck were taken into custody.  They later confessed to involvement in multiple car-prowling crimes in the area.

The LoJack Vehicle Recovery System was installed in this Toyota pickup  in July of 2007 at Titus Will Toyota.
