Mazda 6 Stolen and Recovered in Phoenix for 3rd Time in One Month!

On March 14, 2012, the owner of a Mazda 6 discovered that his vehicle had been stolen from his workplace, and quickly contacted the Phoenix Police Department to report the crime.
Phoenix Police completed a stolen vehicle report and had the Mazda’s information entered into the Arizona and federal crime computer databases – a routine police action that automatically activated the LoJack transponder concealed in the vehicle. Neither the owner nor law enforcement agents had to do anything else to activate the LoJack Stolen Vehicle Recovery Network, because LoJack’s interface with the police is both seamless and instantaneous.
Less than thirty minutes later, the Phoenix Police’s helicopter began to pick up the silent LoJack homing signal from the stolen Mazda on the LoJack Police Tracking Computer installed in the aircraft. The flight crew followed the LoJack signal to a residence in the 11200 block of North 15th Lane, where the officers observed the stolen Mazda, backed into the driveway of a vacant house. Ground officers were unable to locate any suspects at the scene, and recovered the vehicle – for the third time in a month! The vehicle was also reported stolen on February 17, 2012 and recovered in 22 minutes, and again on March 12, 2012, when it was recovered in 68 minutes. The owner has gotten great value from protecting the Mazda with LoJack!
The LoJack Vehicle Recovery System was installed on the Mazda 6 at the owner’s request in October 2007.
