When the owner of this Infiniti G35 discovered it missing from his residence in Spokane, he reported the theft to the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office who verified the report and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Infiniti.

A few hours later and 296 miles from Spokane, a Puyallup Police Department officer equipped with a LoJack Police Tracking Computer (PTC) received the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Infiniti. He located the Infiniti being driven southbound on Interstate 5 at 54th Street in Fife. A felony stop was conducted and a male driver was taken into custody. After advising him of his rights, he was questioned and ultimately booked into the county jail.

The current owner purchased it as a used vehicle and was not aware it was equipped with LoJack.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Infiniti G35 in June 2007 at Infiniti of Denver in Aurora, Colorado.
