The owner of a 2010 Chevrolet Impala 4-door sedan gave the car to their son to drive. The son met up with some women and began driving around. He drove into a gas station at the corner of Pembroke Road and Federal Highway to get some cigarettes. He left the Impala with the two women

The owner of a 2003 black Cadillac Escalade sport utility vehicle discovered their vehicle missing. The owner contacted the Hallandale Beach Police Department to report their vehicle stolen. The officers verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Cadillac.
