On March 7, 2012, the owners of a 2006 Ford F150 pickup discovered their vehicle had been stolen and immediately filed a theft report with the San Antonio Police Department. After all the pertinent information was gathered, San Antonio officers entered the vehicle’s information into the state and national law enforcement’s stolen vehicle computer system.

On January 30, 2012, Hertz Equipment Rentals in French Camp, CA, discovered that their 2005 Ford F-250 was missing. They quickly reported the theft to Contra Costa  California Highway Patrol. After verifying the theft, CHP officers completed a stolen vehicle report and had the Ford pickup truck’s VIN entered into the state and federal crime computers.
