Portland (OR) Police Use LoJack to Recover Stolen Volkswagen Jetta, Found Undamaged

On December 11, 2012, the owner of a 2011 Volkswagen Jetta reported the theft of the vehicle to the Portland Police Bureau.  Portland Police verified the information and entered the VIN into the NCIC stolen vehicle database.  This routine police action automatically activated the LoJack transponder concealed in the vehicle.  Less than two hours later,
