The Boynton Beach, FL resident in this case asked an acquaintance to sell his Audi R8 for him. When no sale occurred, the owner requested the car be returned to him. His so-called ‘friend’ at first refused to give up the vehicle, and later demanded $10,000. Instead of paying, the victim reported the car stolen.
