On September 27, 2012, the owner of a 2012 Yamaha YZF-R6 motorcycle contacted the 3rd Precinct, Brentwood, NY, Suffolk County, to report his motorcycle stolen. According to the owner, his Pastor asked to borrow his bike for a few hours; feeling that it was safe to lend the bike to his pastor, he did so.

On the morning of August 16, 2012 the owner of a 2012 Yamaha YZF-R6 motorcycle received an Early Warning notification from his LoJack Vehicle Recovery System alerting him that his vehicle had been moved.
