Protecting your car, truck, van or motorcycle with the LoJack® system means that you are protected in every part of the US covered by LoJack, whether your vehicle is moved across town or across the country. In this case, a Nissan Frontier stolen in Chandler, AZ is recovered by police, assisted by LoJack, 14 hours away in Oklahoma City, OK.

On January 31st, 2014, the Nissan’s owners contacted the Chandler Police Department to report their truck had been stolen from their residence. Officers verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers. The LoJack device concealed in the Frontier, which was installed at ABC Nissan in Phoenix, AZ, was then automatically activated.

A short while later, an officer with the Oklahoma City PD’s Spring Lake Division picked up the homing signal from the stolen pickup with the LoJack tracking computer installed in the officer’s patrol car. The unoccupied Nissan was located in a parking space at an apartment complex. The Nissan Frontier was found to be in good condition and was soon returned to its relieved owner.
