When the owners of a Ford Taurus discovered their vehicle missing, they were glad they decided to have the LoJack® system installed when they purchased their car. Local law enforcement, assisted by LoJack, recovered the Taurus quickly and safely.

On February 19th, 2014, the Ford’s owners contacted the Pueblo Sheriff’s Office and reported that their vehicle had been stolen. Deputies verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers. This procedure automatically activated the LoJack unit concealed in the Taurus, which was installed at Dale Spradley Motors in Pueblo West, CO.

Just minutes later, troopers with the Colorado State Patrol and deputies from the Pueblo Sheriff’s Office were picking up the homing signals from the stolen car with the LoJack tracking computers installed in their patrol vehicles.  The Taurus was retrieved and soon returned to its very happy owners.
