The Brockton, MA resident in this case discovered her 2010 Toyota Camry missing from her driveway one Tuesday morning. The LoJack® system she had installed when buying her car proved what a wise investment it was. With LoJack’s assistance, local police were able to retrieve the Toyota in just over a half hour after activation.

On November 5th, 2013, the Toyota’s immediately contacted the Brockton Police Department to report the crime. Officers verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers. The LoJack unit concealed in the Camry, which was installed at Copeland Toyota in Brockton, MA, was then automatically activated.

A short while later, troopers from the Massachusetts State Police picked up the homing signals from the stolen car on the LoJack Tracking computers installed in their patrol vehicles. The troopers found the Toyota traveling on Sycamore Street with two male occupants. After requesting backup, the car was stopped and the two suspects taken into custody. The undamaged Camry was recovered and soon returned to its grateful owner.
